ARM's Annual Dinner & Legislative Fly-In 

Join ARM at the InterContinental Washington, DC - The Wharf for the 9th Annual Dinner & Legislative Fly-In! New to this year's agenda there will be a full day of meetings and programming leading up to the Annual Dinner including an RMAT Policy Lunch Briefing, a State of the Industry Mid-Year Update and an interactive panel discussion featuring the patient's experience. Registration at the meeting will include access to all programming and the Annual Dinner, as well as a personalized Congressional meeting schedule during the Legislative Fly-In.

RMAT Policy Lunch Briefing with FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb
12:30-2:00pm | U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner, Dr. Scott Gottlieb, will deliver a keynote address offering his perspective on methods and best practices to ensure safe and effective products reach patients as soon as possible. This briefing will address the agency’s regulatory framework for regenerative medicine products including implementation of the Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation, new agency guidance for product developers and other initiatives. The address will also allow time for audience members to ask questions during a dedicated Q&A session. 

ARM State of the Industry Mid-Year Update 
2:00-2:30pm | ARM CEO, Janet Lambert, will provide a mid-year update on the industry’s legislative and clinical progress to date as well as a forecast of anticipated achievements and challenges. The address will include insights into key sector trends and metrics, and a policy overview in advance of the following day’s Annual Legislative Fly-In.

Patient's Perspective: The Promise of Regenerative Medicine
2:30-4:00pm | This multi-stakeholder discussion will feature the patient’s perspective on the promise of regenerative medicine. The discussion will provide a comprehensive overview of the implications of epidermolysis bullosa on individuals, caregivers and the larger healthcare system, as well as the progress being made to drastically improve the lives of patients and their families. 

Annual Dinner
After a short afternoon break, join us again for ARM's 9th Annual Dinner. The Annual Dinner is one of ARM's premier events celebrating major accomplishments over the past year in the regenerative medicine and advanced therapies field. This intimate dinner recognizes the key corporate, scientific and policy leaders in our sector – including members of Congress, patient advocates, disease-foundation executives and other industry champions.

Legislative Fly-In
Each participant will be assigned to a group based on state/districts and will meet with key members of Congress and Administration officials to describe the immense near-term potential of advanced therapies and the need for legislation that supports the development of life saving treatments.
