The Assistance Fund
The Assistance Fund is an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs by providing financial assistance for their copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other health-related expenses.
We manage nearly 80 disease programs, each of which covers all FDA-approved medications that treat that specific disease. After patients receive a diagnosis of a life-threatening, chronic, or rare disease, they contact us to apply for assistance with the costs of their treatment or other health-related services.
Since we were founded in 2009, we have helped more than 160,000 children and adults access the treatment they need to manage a life-threatening, chronic, or rare disease.
