The International Society for Biofabrication (www.biofabricationsociety.org) will hold its annual meeting, Biofabrication 2019 (www.Biofabrication2019.org), October 20-22 at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Last year’s meeting in Wurzburg, German (www.Biofabrication2018.org) was attended by 502 paid attendees. This 2 ½ day meeting will include 5 Plenary Speakers, 12 Keynote Speakers, 60 standard podium talks, and two poster sessions to cover topics related to bioprinting for the regeneration of a wide variety of tissues. Individual sessions topics will be focused on the latest biofabrication breakthroughs for specific tissues, materials for bioprinting, organoids, cell sources, cancer therapies, industry-led technologies, and the regulatory landscape. New this year is the option to propose workshops. Workshop proposals and standard abstract submissions are due May 17th.
