
ARM’s annual Congressional Fly-In was held May 9-10, 2023. For this program, ARM members came together to represent the cell and gene therapy sector to policymakers on Capitol Hill. This Fly-In provided the opportunity to share the sector’s promise and priorities with the Representatives and Senators who act on behalf our members’ districts and states. These voices are critical to ensuring that policymakers understand the unique nature of these therapies and the policies needed to deliver them to patients.
ARM and USP held a 1.5 day workshop on AAV Analytical Characterization on March 8-9, 2023, in the Washington DC area. This workshop covered various topics on AAV quality, including full / empty capsid characterization, potency assay, and titer measurements.

ARM will be hosting an information session on the upcoming 2023 GROW Internship Program cycle for member companies on Wednesday, November 9th at 1pm EST.
On October 19th, ARM and ASGCT will hold a meeting with FDA on the topic of potency assays for cell and gene therapies. The meeting will take place from 9 AM to 4 PM and will be live streamed for public viewing.
ARM held its first state event in Columbus in May, showcasing Ohio’s leadership in creating a hub for the cell and gene therapy field. The event will included a panel discussion from 4:00pm – 5:00pm, followed by a reception from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
This one-day meeting provides institutional, strategic and venture investors with unique insight into financing opportunities for cell and gene therapy-based treatment and tools. With significant technological advances and a number of recently approved products, the sector is poised for ever-increasing investor and analyst interest.
