CATTI provides best-in-class training for the ATMP/CGT biomanufacturing sector by developing and delivering both online and onsite training programs. CATTI’s mission is to support students and employees with the training and knowledge they require to successfully work under good manufacturing practices both for clinical and commercial manufacturing (GMP). As a result the future workforce will be qualified to work at the hundreds of jobs being created by investment in the global life sciences. CATTI is led by a consortium of two highly successful Networks of Centers of Excellence in Canada – the Center for the Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine[CCRM] and CellCAN, the Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy Network, which is a knowledge mobilization company. Together, they have over 6 years of GMP training experience that CATTI has leveraged to contribute substantially to growing the cell and gene therapy sector. CATTI has a practical, CL2 (BSL2) lab-based training center for specialized onsite, hands-on training. This gives CATTI the capacity to focus on providing participants skills development in GMP Foundations, Aseptic Cleanroom Systems, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory for CGT-specific skills in manufacturing stem cells, T-cells, MSCs and viral vector production.
