Sernova - HemACure Webinar: Results in Fighting Haemophilia A

October 25, 2018

Dr. Philip Toleikis, Sernova’s President and CEO, along with the additional Horizon 2020 HemAcure Consortium Leaders, will present an overview of key achievements in developing a novel cell-based therapy for the treatment of Hemophilia A, in a publicly accessible webinar.

The webinar will include an introduction to the consortium, an overview of bleeding disorders with a focus on Hemophilia A, the innovative therapeutic approach HemAcure is developing as well as results and achievements to date. Participants are welcome to submit their questions during the webinar through the Q&A section. Questions that are left unanswered due to time constraint will be collected and answered in a written follow-up published on the HemAcure website.

Exploring Sources of Variability Related to the Clinical Translation of Regenerative Engineering Products - A Workshop

To further explore the various factors that contribute to successful regenerative engineering products, the Forum on Regenerative Medicine will hold a one-day workshop in Washington, DC on October 18, 2018. The workshop may discuss factors and sources of variability in the development and clinical application of regenerative engineering products, characteristics of high-quality products, and how different clinical needs, models, and contexts can inform the development of a product. A broad array of stakeholders may take part in the workshop, including academic and industry experts, regulators, clinicians, patients, and patient advocates.

Zoobiquity Colorado: Connecting Human and Animal Health through Regenerative Medicine

October 5–6, 2018

Zoobiquity Colorado: Connecting Human and Animal Health through Regenerative Medicine is a two-day meeting, sponsored by the University of Colorado’s Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine and Colorado State University.  It is the first Zoobiquity event held in Colorado and the first Zoobiquity conference to focus on the connection between human and animal health in the area of regenerative medicine.  Highlighting laboratory and clinical research of both human and veterinary investigators, investigators will share their knowledge and the challenges of designing and administering stem cell therapies for both animals and people.
